At our manufacture, every VitalloFlex boot is made entirely by hand – without automated processes, but with all the more care and dedication. Every detail is precisely executed, every stitch thoughtfully placed. Shaped by Hand
Targeted reinforcement materials in the forefoot and heel areas enhance wearing comfort. During hand-lasting, our special pull-up leather reveals its unique two-tone character: tension and stretch of the leather bring out lighter and darker areas, creating a distinctive look that makes every pair truly one of a kind. The upper is gently pulled over the last, allowing the natural leather to mold perfectly to the shape. The result: a fit like no other.
Hand-Stitched
In shoemaking, the most durable connection is the stitch – especially when it comes to attaching the sole. With our exclusive DoubleFlex construction, two separate seams connect the upper to the welt and midsole. Developed in-house and stitched entirely by hand, this method combines strength with flexibility and a surprisingly lightweight feel.

Tradition
It began in the mid-1990s – with a boot that offered more than others. Our Vitallo boots caused a stir in the Western riding scene and soon achieved cult status. Outstanding durability, exceptional comfort, and unique combinations of colors and materials made them stand out from the crowd. They were so good that, in 2003, Hackner was appointed official outfitter of the German Reining Team by the German Equestrian Olympic Committee. The team’s boots were unmistakable thanks to the black-red-gold leather stripes. But even beyond the arena, they proved themselves – with long-lasting quality and remarkable comfort.
Evolution
Originally developed for Western riding, our boots have been carefully refined over the years – and have since become ideal companions for everyday life. Yet they’ve never lost their original DNA: they continue to impress with their robust character and uniquely comfortable wearing experience. At the same time, we have further enhanced the construction, selected materials with even greater precision, and modernized the design in subtle details to increase their versatility. A Heart of Climatocork
Ankle-high boots on warm days? No problem with VitalloFlex. Like all VitalloFlex shoes, our boot models are equipped with a highly breathable heart – the Climatocork footbed. It ensures a pleasant climate inside the boot and lasting comfort, even in warmer conditions.
Gusseted Tongue
From the very beginning, the integrated gusseted tongue has been a defining feature of our boots. It prevents dirt from entering the interior and keeps the tongue securely in place – enhancing overall wearing comfort. The extended lacing with its signature leather straps provides a secure hold and firm fit.
Vibram Sole
When it comes to outsoles, we make no compromises and rely on proven quality from Vibram. Whether with a deep-lugged mountain profile or a sporty flex design – our soles offer maximum grip and traction on a wide range of surfaces, while maintaining flexibility and outstanding comfort.
