Delivery
How does the delivery of my order work?
We ship your order to the address you provided – within Germany using DHL’s standard delivery service.
For international deliveries, we work with DHL Premium to ensure fast and reliable shipping. In most cases, the final delivery is handled by the national postal service or a local partner in the destination country.
As soon as your parcel is handed over to DHL, you will receive an email with your tracking number. This allows you to monitor the shipment online at any time – usually even after it has been passed on to the local delivery service.
How does shipment tracking work?
Once your order has been handed over to DHL, you will automatically receive an email with the corresponding tracking number sent to the email address you provided.
You can use this number to check the current delivery status online at any time – even when your shipment is in transit with a partner service abroad.
What happens if no one is home at the time of delivery?
This information refers to deliveries within Germany: DHL typically attempts at least one delivery. If this fails, a second attempt may follow – or the driver will leave a notification card in your mailbox. In this case, your parcel will be redirected to the nearest post office or DHL parcel shop and held there for collection.

For international shipments, the delivery procedure may vary depending on the destination country and local carrier.
Can I pick up my order directly at the manufacture in Hilpoltstein?
Yes – you’re welcome to pick up your shoes or accessories in person at our manufacture in Hilpoltstein, Germany.
To ensure we can take the time for you, we kindly ask you to schedule a short appointment in advance.

How long is the delivery time?
Delivery time consists of the production period and shipping time: The specific production time is listed directly on the product page in the online shop.
Shipping within Germany typically takes around two business days.
For international deliveries, the shipping time may vary depending on the destination region.

Why do I have to pay shipping costs?
Unlike many large retailers, we do not simply include shipping costs in the product price. For us, shipping is a real service that involves real costs – and we believe in handling this transparently.
This includes not only the transport itself, but also packaging, preparation, insurance, and internal handling.
The shipment of the Measuring Kit, in particular, involves significant logistical effort – both in execution and in follow-up processing.
As an owner-managed manufacture with personal customer service, we do not benefit from the special rates available to major retailers. We therefore kindly ask for your understanding that we charge a partial fee for shipping.
How much is the shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country. We structure them transparently and fairly – based on region and effort.

We ship exclusively with DHL to ensure reliable, fast, and trackable delivery.
How does the return shipment of the Measuring Kit work?
For customers in Germany, a return label is included with the Measuring Kit – return shipping is easy via DHL and already covered by the standard shipping cost.
Customers outside Germany are kindly asked to arrange return shipping on their own and to bear the associated costs. A centralized return process coordinated by us would involve significantly more effort and higher shipping costs – due to the wide range of national carriers and differing regulations. This way, each customer can choose the shipping provider that suits them best, and we keep overall costs fair and manageable.
For customers in the United States, return shipping is also covered: Our local distribution partner takes care of both shipping and return of the Measuring Kit. These costs are also already included in the standard shipping fee.
Can additional costs arise for international deliveries?
Yes. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, taxes, or other import charges may apply. These are beyond our control and must be paid by the recipient.
