Our goal was to create a completely new kind of golf shoe – for both men and women. A shoe that questions old conventions and sets new standards. A shoe that adapts to the player – not the other way around – and whose distinctive character is instantly visible.
That’s why each pair of Vitallo golf shoes is bespoke – individually tailored to your feet. Crafted entirely by hand, they combine our specially developed Climatocork interior with naturally tanned leathers to deliver a unique wearing experience – noticeable with every step.
Thoughtful Concept
Hand Stitching
A defining feature of every Vitallo shoe is the hand stitch that connects the upper leather to the midsole. This construction method combines high flexibility with minimal weight – which is why it’s also used in our Playersline golf models.
Two-Piece Upper Construction
In Vitallo golf shoes, the upper is made from just two leather pieces, joined by a single seam. Seams are essential to permanently connect the individual parts of the shoe. However, they also have a drawback – each stitch perforates the leather and creates a potential entry point for water. That’s why our Ace model follows a design approach that avoids seams wherever possible.
Gusseted Tongue
The two-piece upper construction is enhanced by another refined detail – the integrated gusseted tongue. Its seamless design allows for a smooth entry into the shoe and adapts perfectly to the shape of the golfer’s instep. It also helps prevent dirt and moisture from entering the interior of the shoe.
Moisture Protection Membrane
Maximum Protection from Wet Feet
360-Degree Membrane
To provide optimal protection from wet feet, each Vitallo golf shoe is fitted with a special membrane inserted between the upper leather and the lining. Both the insole and the entire front of the shoe, as well as a roughly 4 cm wide perimeter around the entire shoe, are sealed with a seamless film. This creates an effective barrier against moisture from below, as well as against splashing water from above and from the sides.
12-Hour Waterproof Test
The use of vegetable-tanned lining leather and our breathable Climatocork interior prevents heat buildup inside the shoe. Before the upper and midsole are stitched together by hand, each shoe undergoes a twelve-hour waterproof test. No Playersline model leaves our manufacture without passing it.
Performance Plus
High Flexibility and Minimal Weight
To support natural foot movement while playing golf, a highly flexible yet stable sole layout is essential. That’s why we invested significant time in developing the outsole for the Vitallo Playersline. To achieve maximum flexibility with minimal weight, we designed an innovative spike attachment system. Instead of being screwed into a rigid sole as is common practice, the flexible spikes are bonded directly to the outsole using a specially developed high-strength adhesive process.
Custom Spike Positioning
Every golfer develops a personal playing style over time. No two players are the same. During the swing, for example, the leg rotates differently from person to person, resulting in unique weight distribution patterns. A Vitallo golf shoe should be as individual as its wearer. That’s why we offer custom spike positioning tailored to your specific needs. And if the spikes become worn over time, they can be professionally replaced at our manufacture.
