Why We Charge Shipping Fees

Unlike many large retailers, we do not include shipping costs as a flat-rate markup in our product prices.
For us, shipping is a genuine service that incurs costs – and we want to be open and transparent about that.
Sending out our Measuring Kit, in particular, involves considerable effort – both logistically and in terms of follow-up.
In addition, shipping includes more than just transportation. It also covers insurance, packaging, shipping preparation, and – for international orders – the creation of customs documentation.
As an independently owned manufacture with personal customer service, we do not receive the same preferential rates as major shipping companies. We therefore ask for your understanding that we pass on part of the shipping costs.

• Europe: €20.00
• Worldwide: €50.00

What the Shipping Fee Covers

The shipping fee covers more than just transportation. Included are, among other things:

• Shipment of our Measuring Kit*
• Packaging and careful shipping preparation
• Insurance for your order
• Creation of all necessary shipping and customs documents
• Tracking and shipment monitoring
• Reliable DHL shipping – generally DHL Premium for international orders

* The Measuring Kit is usually sent with first-time orders. For repeat orders, a new Measuring Kit may not be required – depending on the model and your existing foot impression. In such cases, we will coordinate individually with you.
The cost of shipping the Measuring Kit to you is included in the shipping fee worldwide.
Return shipping of the Measuring Kit is currently free of charge from Germany and the USA.
Customers in other countries are kindly asked to arrange and cover the return shipment themselves.

Delivery Times (Standard Transit Times)

Delivery time consists of the production time and the transport time:

• Production time: see product page under “Notes”
• Shipping time within Germany: approx. 1–3 business days
• Shipping time within the EU: approx. 3–6 business days
• Shipping time non-EU / worldwide: approx. 6–12 business days
  

Please note that in some cases delivery times may vary – for example, due to local holidays or customs clearance.

Are Customs Fees Charged for International Deliveries?

For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional customs duties, import VAT, or other charges may apply. These are beyond our control and are the responsibility of the recipient.
For further information on whether import duties may apply to you, please contact the customs authorities in your country.
